2025 Nyansapo Borehole Water System Project

Nyansapo is proud to highlight the successful completion of its inaugural Borehole Water System Partnership Project at Foase Health Center in Ghana.

Access to clean and reliable water remains one of the foundational needs for safe and effective healthcare delivery. For many healthcare facilities and communities, inconsistent water access creates daily operational challenges that affect patient care, sanitation, infection prevention, and overall health outcomes. Recognizing this need, Nyansapo launched the Borehole Water System Partnership Initiative in 2025 to help improve access to sustainable water infrastructure for healthcare facilities and underserved communities.

Foase Health Center was selected as the first partner facility under this initiative.

Supporting Healthcare Through Sustainable Infrastructure

The Foase Health Center serves patients and families within its surrounding communities and plays an important role in delivering essential healthcare services. Prior to this project, access to dependable water supply remained a significant operational challenge.

Through this partnership, Nyansapo funded and supported the development of a borehole water system designed to provide a more reliable and sustainable water source for the facility.

The project represents more than infrastructure alone. Reliable water access directly supports:

• Improved sanitation and infection prevention
• Safer patient care environments
• Better support for healthcare workers and daily clinical operations
• Improved access to clean water for patients and surrounding community members
• Long-term operational sustainability for the health center

A Meaningful First Step

As Nyansapo’s inaugural borehole partnership project, the Foase Health Center initiative reflects the organization’s broader commitment to improving healthcare access and strengthening community health systems through practical, high-impact support.

The successful completion of this project also established the foundation for the expansion of the Borehole Water System Partnership Initiative into future years.

Building on the momentum and lessons from the Foase Health Center partnership, Nyansapo officially launched its 2026 Borehole Water System Partnership Application to continue supporting additional healthcare facilities and communities in need of reliable water access.
